How long does the free assessment take?
Most people finish in 8–12 minutes. Progress saves automatically, and photos and reports can be added later.
Do I need a blood report?
No. Reports are optional. If you have one, StrandLens summarises the values you confirm using the laboratory's own ranges.
Will StrandLens tell me why my hair is thinning?
No. StrandLens highlights possible contributing factors based on what you share, explains its confidence and what's missing, and helps you decide when to speak with a clinician.
How does daily logging work?
Premium members complete a check-in that takes under a minute: food categories, water, products, shedding, scalp symptoms, sleep and stress.
What happens if something looks concerning?
Configurable safety rules flag information that may benefit from professional evaluation. StrandLens never decides how urgent something is — it points you to qualified care.
